Optional Google Analytics

Only after you accept, this website loads Google Analytics 4 to help Lüfer understand how the site is used. Before a choice, or if you reject, no Analytics script loads and this site sends no Analytics events or consent pings to Google.

After acceptance, we measure one page view for each document loaded, the painting identifier and title when a painting is opened or changed in the viewer, and clicks on the public email links. A contact click does not mean that an email was sent. We do not send email contents, form text or an account ID to Analytics.

Google Analytics also processes session and engagement information, cookie-based browser identifiers, basic browser and device information, and country/region-level location derived from connection data. Granular location and device collection is disabled in the Analytics property. Google receives technical connection information when its service is used. The page address we supply excludes query strings and painting hashes, and we collect only the referring website’s origin (scheme and domain, plus a port if present), not the full referring page address, query or fragment. Referrals from this website are omitted. Advertising storage, ad user data, ad personalization and Google signals are disabled. We do not use analytics for advertising or fingerprinting.

Cookies and your saved choice

Your accept or reject choice is stored locally in this browser for up to 180 days, separately from Analytics. Analytics stays off if the browser cannot reliably save an accepted choice. On the public site, acceptance allows first-party Google Analytics cookies, typically _ga and _ga_ followed by the stream identifier. These help distinguish browsers and sessions and are configured to expire within the remaining consent period, no later than 180 days, without extending their lifetime on each visit.

These cookie identifiers are not your name, but they are still data about a browser's use of the site. Google processes Analytics information on its systems, which may be outside your country. Read Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner sites for more information.

Your choice, at any time

Use Analytics settings to accept, reject or reset your choice. Rejecting after acceptance stops new tracking and clears accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site; the page may reload to unload Google's code. Reset does the same and removes the saved choice. A change does not remove information already sent to Google, and other devices or browsers keep their own choices.

If browser storage is blocked, analytics remains off and your choice may need to be made again on your next visit. Private previews and local development do not send Analytics data.

Hosting and contacting Lüfer

The hosting provider may process basic request and security logs needed to deliver this website, independently of your Analytics choice. Clicking an email link opens your email app; any email you choose to send is handled by the relevant email services, not Google Analytics.
